Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Bellaire Public Schools website. I hope you find this resource to be useful and informative. This website is the hub of district information that is relevant to all community stakeholders.

I believe that a school district is the lynchpin of the community, the axle around which the community revolves. In order to keep operations running smoothly and effectively, we must maintain a solid foundation. As such, our success is built upon a foundation of four principles:

1. Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for students to grow and develop into the next generation of learners and citizens.
2. Integrating quality programs and innovative teaching strategies to build 21st-century skills to serve the needs of our community.
3. Implementing cost-effective strategies to ensure fiscal responsibility.
4. Making decisions that are, in the end, always in the best interests of our students.

As Superintendent, I believe that our continued success comes through the thoughtful allocation of resources, through providing the best instructors equipped with the best tools, and through open communication between the schools and the community. I look forward to continue serving the students, the staff, and the community of the Bellaire Public Schools.

On behalf of the members of our Board of Education, our administration, our faculty and our staff, I would like to thank you for your continued interest in and support of the Bellaire Public Schools.

---Mark Brenton, Superintendent
